There are two styles of the firing pin, pictured is the original version from the 50's and 60's. This has 3 ribs and is made of a yellowish stainless steel type material. Most importantly, that's also what has arrived! The newer pins from the 70's on are thinner and believed to be more prone to breakage. These have 4 ribs and appear grey, like cast iron. All in all, a good price for a rare item.
