Very nice quality wool.
The correct buttons and holes on the back. Sadly is the shoulderboards for a M40.

It is a wonderful coat with a feeling of really good quality. Beautiful and with style. Warm, comfortable and with practical details, as a military item should have. I like the sleeves that can be shortened or extended, to fit exactly the length of your arms. Good old German quality, with other words... : )
