Die Beschreibung hält definitiv, was sie verspricht; Nicht nur für sein Alter (mein Exemplar datiert 1918, also knapp 100 Jahre alt!) bemerkenswert gut erhalten, zudem vorbildlich gepflegt (alle beweglichen Teile sind beinahe schon ZU gut eingefettet!), bis auf leichte (aber problemlos zu entfernende) Verschmutzungen an den Metallteilen. Auch hatte ich insofern Glück, daß bei meinem Exemplar nur ein Schaftteil (das zwischen Visier und Schloß) farblich differierte; Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Daumen hoch! Danke, ZIB!!!

Superschönes Gewehr in 1A Erhaltungszustand. Fettung lässt sich nach dem zerlegen supereinfach mit Ballistol entfernen. Versand war ebenfalls sehr zufriedenstellend. Vielen Dank ans ZIB-Team. Werde immer wieder hier einkaufen

Die hochwertigste Verarbeitung des SMLE Mk III ist beeindruckend. Dei Arsenalfettung ist elefantös, die Tauchfettung ist 100%. Daher Aufarbeitungszeit bis alles trocken, flugentrostet u. funktionsfertig ist, sind 12 Std. Dann ist aber auch der Schaft u. die Kappe perfekt. Leider sind die 4 Schaftteile aus unterschiedlichen Hölzern u. damit bunt, aber das ist üblich bei den Enfields für deren Werksaufarbeitungen. Nummerngleich ist selten.

Topzustand für sein Alter. Ich habe kein vergleichbares Objekt gefunden. Zib-Militaria kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Man findet fast alles was man auf diesem Gebiet sucht.

This is an excellent piece of history from the First World War. My SMLE is dated 1915, right in the middle of the war and from the research of the markings on the rifle it appears that my .303 was with the Royal Irish Fusiliers. These rifles were also used in the Irish war of Independence and in the Civil War that followed Independence. These SMLE's played a major part in the volatile history of Ireland and not to mention the slaughter in the trenches of WW 1 where 200,000 Irishmen fought and nearly 50,000 died. An amazing piece of history in my hands. This is my 3rd purchase from ZIB and extremely happy with each one. Thanks again ZIB Team.
