If you precisely want a folding spade this is the one to get, personally i would prefer a non-folding spade but this does not mean this is bad in anyway. This will do just fine believe that, excellent spate.

Hatte erst befürchtet einen kleinen Campingspaten zu bekommen, aber der hier ist wirklich robust! Einziges Manko: der Verschluss der Spatentasche wird bei eingeklappten Stiel komplett verdeckt und man kann die Tasche nicht schließen, der Spaten ist damit also ungesichert. Etwas suboptimal- eine bessere Repro wäre doch bestimmt machbar gewesen!? (Vorlage dazu siehe das Bild mit den FJ)

Nice quality item at good price.It has heat treated steel shovel plate with correct stamps.The shovel is not 100% historically correct because when is inserted in the carrier the wooden handle don't points away (from the man wearing the shovel) as the original ones.So a little bit can disturb you when wearing.The carrier is made by quality leather and fits perfect the shovel.I think it's a good choose for your reenactment!

Der Spaten macht einen Klasse eindruck ! Er wirkt sehr rustikal und stabil ! Mal sehen wie er sich im Feld machen wird aber ich bin überzeugt das er hält was er verspricht :)
